SerCom Solutions Opens New Facility in Poland

SerCom Solutions opened it’s newest facility in Lodz , Poland in December, 2008. The facility is capable of delivering all of SerCom Solutions extensive range of supply chain activities.
The new operation in Lodz provides sourcing, procurement, warehousing, hubbing and assembly capabilities to SerCom Solution’s European based customers.
The facility is located on Rokicinska Street approximately 7 km from Lodz city centre and close to the new motorway junction A1 between, Gdansk, Lodz and Katowice. The site has a high level of security with CCTV inside and out. The perimeter of the site is ring fenced and guarded 24 hours, 7 days a week.
During the announcement today, Paul O’Halloran, MD SerCom Solutions Limerick & Lodz stated that “The new facility setup was a great success meeting both timeline and budget targets. We have a very strong team on the ground in Lodz and they were fully supported by the startup team in Ireland. Demand is growing in Central and Eastern Europe and the new location will deliver a lower cost base. Lodz delivers the same high level of quality, skill sets and expertise that are available from all SerCom Solution’s worldwide locations. Lodz is utilizing our latest technology MySAP ERP”.
SerCom Solutions has been present in Poland since 2004 with a highly successful and ongoing partnership with FM Logistic with whom we offer extensive procurement services.
