SerCom Poland Increases Assembly Capacity

SerCom Solutions has significantly expanded its assembly capacity operations in Lodz with the addition of a new high volume assembly line which was commissioned on the 12th June. The new line features high speed automatic component collation, finished product shrink-wrap, in-line weigh verification as an additional quality assurance measure and finished product ID scan to produce carton labeling.
Our operational team in Lodz has been putting the new line through its paces to ensure optimum performance. We also have local trained maintenance support in place to ensure that our new line is maintained to a high standard.
The new line will add a maximum daily output of 20,000 units and extends our capabilities for our current customer base in the region. We see this as a very positive move and a natural progression having successfully launched our new facility and commenced operations in December 2008, achieved accreditation to ISO 9001:2000Quality Standard and the Environmental Standard ISO 14001 in February 2009 and awarded the Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001) standard in May 2009.
We are committed to the provision of SerCom’s full range of solutions in Central Europe. Already we are servicing several existing and new customers from Lodz and Mzcnzonow providing sourcing, procurement, product assembly as well as production configuration, rework and screening services.
