Portability, reliability and scalability are the buzz words for 2010 in supply chain IT. A recent collation of known customer goals for 2010 has revealed that one of the single perceived roadblocks in realising business goals for 2010 is IT. Speaking today, SerCom’s Global CTO (Chief Technical Officer), Padraig Henry, commented that large customer organizations with multiple business goals and shared IT functions can very often need to concentrate IT resources on only the most strategic challenges.
