Who We Are

Corporate Background:
SerCom Solutions, headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, was founded in 1978 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of DCC plc. DCC is one of Irelands leading business support services groups and have annual revenues exceeding $6 billion, with operating profits over $200m. DCC have been investors with SerCom since 1985, and they have a strong balance sheet. They are also quoted on both the London and Dublin stock exchanges.

With our roots in the print and packaging industries, we have advanced our procurement business across a wide variety of commodities and services. We have also developed our expertise into highly complex assembly work. Commodities managed include IT related components (such as screws, cables, enclosures & cards); marcom materials; electronic components & finished goods; furniture, building materials such as tools & insulation; various types of print & packaging; as well as clothing.

SerCom Solutions was the first indigenous Irish company in our sector to be awarded ISO 9000 in 1988 -we were also the first to be awarded ISO 14000. Quality, regardless of price, will not be compromised under any circumstance and customers can be assured of our stringent sourcing, compliance and control processes.

Our business is fundamentally client driven - there is a non negotiable goal for customer satisfaction which prevails throughout our entire organisation.The decision making process for investment requirements is speedy and this enables us to respond immediately to customer needs. While we have many large corporations on our client list, we have also worked very successfully with small and medium sized businesses that chose to immediately leverage our nimble infrastructure and book of business purchasing power. Our sophisticated IT system (mySAP ERP) has allowed suppliers and customers react to real time supply chain activity. Customers have gained significant cost advantage from leveraging our extensive capabilities - without compromising on quality or delivery performance.

Global Reach:
We have a number of locations in each of the main regions, Europe (4), USA (4) & Asia (2) and are well advanced in the planning process to expand further into the Americas as well as Asia. However, through our strategic partnerships and highly portable IT systems, we are in a position to provide a service from virtually any of our client's preferred locations.
