SerCom Solutions has actively sourced materials in China for more than decade. We have consistently applied the same standards to our supply base in China as we do elsewhere in the world. Our skilled local team, based in Shenzhen in China, carry out sourcing, benchmarking, quality assurance and expediting activities throughout Asia. The office deals in a very wide range of commodities including: leading edge electronic equipment; clothing; glass furniture; packaging; materials and tools for builder's providers; and computer components. Our team is adept at sourcing new commodities, re-engineering and customising products for specific customer needs, and rapidly establishing a qualified supply line to end markets.

The team in China is integrated into the overall SerCom Solutions Supply Chain function. There are rigid supplier qualification procedures, as well as extensive product testing and process/component inspection activities. Our China based personnel work with other team members around the world on a daily, and sometimes hourly, basis. Their vigilance and close proximity to the supply base allows them become our customers' eyes and ears on the ground, ensuring any potential problems are identified and resolved at source. Our suppliers and team in China access inventory and demand information on our IT systems real time, allowing them respond quickly to changes in demand.
